There’s a whole world out there… Sometimes, its better to have time alone, to have the complete freedom to do things without worrying about what other people will say.

In the end, you don’t really have to think of yourself as a lonely person…

Me and my friends had a pact to have a monthly get together. It could be a simple lunch out somewhere or a fabulous away from the city trip. It also serves as our breather from our respective works…


It was the usual exchange of messages between me and Glaiza. When we thought about going to a famous bar with the gang for our monthly meeting. I was busy tweeting then and I came across Tim Yap’s profile when a thought hits me. Why not go to Republiq? Among the group, it was me and Glai who‘s more willing to experiment. And since this year, we had been travelling away from the city so going out in a bar with your love friends would be a change of events…

We texted the group and they all agreed! Too bad Jonabelle wasn’t able to join us since she was stuck with work. *sometimes work can be a pain in the ass right?*
Good thing, Marjorie has this part time job as a club promoter, so she got us in as guests the only thing we needed to worry is the table and our drinks.


Republiq is quite pricey among other bars. Tables are higher than the usual, drinks weren’t affordable if you’re the type who earns the average. But I like the location, I like the ambience, and even though people were out of my league *coz they are born filthy rich to afford it* we manage to have a good time. It lived up to its name. You would definitely get your money’s worth.

Thor

Everyone is raving about how good THOR is. Honestly, I was never a fan of comic based movies. I did watched SPIDERMAN, but that was because my sister literally dragged me to the cinema. So I was really curious about watching THOR. Why? I was literally staying at the mall every week. I would do my shopping, bonding with friends and IDEAHOPPING at the MALL.

My place is just a few minutes drive in MOA. About five to ten minutes, you’ll be there. I was with a friend, last week, and we were scouting for SCREAM 4 but to our dismay, it isn’t shown yet. I was amazed to see that they opened 5 cinemas just for one movie.

I even asked my officemates how they find the movie and all of them agreed for me to watch it. So when my soul sister Rachel asked me to watch a movie today, I asked her to watch THOR although she wanted to watch a different movie then.

Thor is an epic adventure based on MARVEL COMICS, it spans from present day Earth, to the realm of Asgard. Thor was a powerful, but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor was sent to Earth and was forced to live among humans as punishment. Then Thor learns how to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world, sends the darkest forces of ASGARD to invade EARTH.

My favorite scenes: (1.) When THOR smiled at DARCY Lewis (played by Kat Dennings) he looked so charming my ♥ fell into pieces. (2.) When Thor almost cried after he broke the BRIDGE. (3.) Of course, the usual romantic fool I am, when Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) kissed THOR… Ayiii!!!!

All in all, it was entertaining, it was easy to understand, and witty. More over, I think what made it more fun is the fact, that I watched it with a friend.

Manila Tour

I have four girl friends at work. We would always chat about local show business. We would always make fun of each other and anyone on the floor… Some people find us mean except for Anna (she is an angel!). Anyone would think TEAM MIKE as TEAM NOISY because of us. Everyone can recognize us on the floor… Anyways… my entry is how we manage to start going out. Me, the usual lakwatsera together with Glaiza thought of doing a trip down memory lane. Glaiza went to San Sebastian for college and I did go to Adamson, so we had something in common, we’re both from Manila and Anna and Carla we’re just our willing victims to go with us… We then thought of going to Manila…
